Design Hoist is the one-person studio of Kev Price. You'll work directly with me for the e entirety of your experience. I aim to bring the flexibility of a freelancer and the strategy of a small agency (without the overhead).
Most designs are created in Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign) and Figma. On request, Canva templates can be created.
We work primarily with small to medium businesses who have a passion for what they do. Kev has helped independent consultants to multi-million pound businesses. If you are passionate about your brand presence as we are about design, get in touch!
The work shown here is a sample – some past projects can’t be shared (due to confidentiality). When it comes to branding, we can create for anyone. Great creative work is grounded in research and a careful balance of being both appropriate and distinctive. We’ll study your competitors and craft a brand identity that stands out, resonates with your audience, and elevates you above the rest.
Design Hoist are a Guildford based design studio in the heart of the Surrey Hills, operating from a home studio – great design comes from ideas, not office space.
We work on many one-off projects, but what we really like is building relationships where we can make the most impact over time. For clients we've helped with branding and/or a website, we love to continue supporting the growth and health of their brand over time (we're still working with one client some 10+ years later).
Once an agreement is in place, early stages usually start within a few weeks. Most brand and website projects can take between 4–8 weeks (longer if more complex).
